Friend,
200 MassVOTE supporters so far have sent messages to Beacon Hill asking for better election laws in 2012. The messages are working. We've started to hear chatter about these bills in the State House. So how do we turn this chatter into action? We keep asking. The more people, the better.
Can you send a message today?
MassVOTE has set a goal to increase turnout by 5% over 2008. That's 150,000 new voters. We are going to be spending a lot of time this year working with allies to register, educate, and turnout voters... but to really get everyone registered and voting, we need to modernize our election laws.
Send a message to the State House now.
You know what we need to get 150,000 more people out and voting.
Send an email to the State House right now.
We need these reforms in time for this year's elections. And that means passing these bills in the next 8 weeks.
With your help, Massachusetts will be on its way to record-setting voter turnout in November.
Thank you,
Avi Green
